Three decades after the Supreme Court verdict on the pollution threat to the iconic Taj Mahal, the pathetic plight of river Yamuna that sustains the Taj, shows no signs of healthy change.

Prof Ikram Hussain, Department of Physical Education, and Prof Ekram Khan from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Aligarh Muslim University, in collaboration with Dr. Fuzail Ahmad and Anand Agrawal, have secured a patent titled “Split Sprint Timer” from the Intellectual Property Office of New Delhi. The patent, bearing the number 456666, was officially granted on the 4th of October.
